Use this site to generate your own “error message” image. Discovered this via @sensor63 and Victoria Siemer’s work here: http://t.co/rqgDdEZH0n. I would recommend that you 1. Go to Google and search images for “Error messages”. 2. Go to Atom Smasher here: http://atom.smasher.org/error/ 3. Find a worthwhile error message and adapt it on Atom Smasher’s site. 4. This process takes a digital image and converts it into audio. It sounds odd and it is. But what would a picture sound like? Using a freeware for PC called AudioPaint (http://www.nicolasfournel.com/audiopaint.htm) that does just that. You import an image, tinker with settings along a spectrum of light and sound, and export the audio interpretation of your image.

And since we weren’t quite ready for a $40 dye job, she researched temporary dyeing and came up with this idea.
