Mozilla has built an interesting tool into the Firefox browser that allows you to make a three dimensional view of a website, where links and media “pop up” off the website image. This view provides a sense of the architecture of a website. Here’s how you do it:
- Use the latest version of Firefox
- Go to a webpage you want to examine in 3D
- Right click with your mouse
- Choose “inspect element”
- In bottom right corner, there will be an icon (a 3D box) for the three dimensional view
- Click and explore
